The Audiovisual Archive has signed an Agreement of Preservation of its documental base with the Asociación Proyectos Culturales para el Desarrollo (Cultural Projects for Development Association). This agreement has the support of more than 50 Argentinean writers.
Since this agreement, it is guaranteed a security copy of all the documents produced and gathered by the Buenos Aires Audiovisual Archive, in order to keep and preserve them.

Adolfo Bioy Casares was born in Buenos Aires, September 15th 1914, child of wealthy parents which allowed him to focus himself in Literature exclusively. Short story writer, lover of the Fantastic Literature and the Anglo-Saxon Detective Fiction, his novel "La invención de Morel" is absolutely his most famous book and it has become a classic of the contemporary Literature. We tribute him with two videos where he remembers his parents and talks about happiness and unhappiness. He passed away in Buenos Aires, March 8th 1999.
